Monitor exact local session identity and your-turn handoffs. On macOS, the current documented quota surface uses Codex's weekly window.

Codex usage
Use the currently reported weekly window without recreating a retired 5-hour value or calling an estimate a bill.
Shared cross-platform scope
The verified shared macOS and Windows scope is live local session state and your-turn alerts. Usage and report-card pages state their own platform boundary where it differs.
