Park and Switch Between Multiple Codex Accounts

If you hold more than one Codex login, you can park them all and move between them without signing in and out.

Before you start

  • More than one Codex account you legitimately hold
  • Agent Island with Codex already connected

1. Open the Codex provider menu

In Settings → Providers, the Codex row carries an account control alongside its toggle.

2. Park the current login

Save the signed-in account under a name you will recognise later — the account, not the plan.

You should see: the parked account listed by name

3. Add the others

Sign in with the next account through the Codex CLI, then park that one too. Repeat for each.

You should see: every account you hold appearing in the list

4. Switch in one click

Pick any parked account from the menu. The island's Codex row re-reads that account's quota on the next refresh.

You should see: the Codex percentage changing to the newly selected account's

5. Decide about auto-switch

Optional and off by default: when the active account's quota reads exhausted, rotate to the next parked one. It is driven by real usage numbers rather than a timer. Leave it off if you want to know each time you cross an account boundary.

If it does not work

The parked account will not activate

Its stored credentials may have expired. Sign in again with the Codex CLI while that account is active, then re-park it.

Auto-switch did not fire

It triggers on a reported exhaustion, not on a prediction. If the provider has not reported the window as exhausted yet, nothing rotates.

Quota looks wrong after switching

Give it one refresh cycle, or click the Synced caption to refresh immediately.
